Stories from Queer Kendal Book Launch

Join us at No Hands Rest as we launch the first edition of the Stories from Queer Kendal book.
Over the past two months, photographer Sarah Hewitt and writers Jonathan Cowie and Duncan Hodgson have interviewed and photographed ten local people from the queer community. Now, we’re bringing together their stories and images in a book, celebrating the diversity of lived experience in our queer community.
Alongside the book, you can also view a selection of the photographs which will remain on display at No-Hands Rest for the rest of Pride Month.
Copies of the book will be available to buy on the night priced £10, but please bring cash if possible.
