Join Lakes Gravel Gang for a mixed terrain 14.5 mile route from Kendal out along quiet lanes and off road tracks with a cafe stop at Levens Hall. The ride is open to anyone who identifies as LGBTQIA+ as well as allies.

This is a social ride and not guided. LGG ride organisers will be on hand to assist navigation and keep the group together however are not qualified guides, this means you need to be responsible for yourself and your bike:

  • meet at the Pride Village at Abbot Hall at 9.45am for a 10am departure
  • please download the route to your phone and have the means to navigate back to your car if needed
  • carry a basic repair kit – a spare tube for your bike, tyre levers and pump as the minimum (a multitool if you have one)
  • bring sufficient food, water and extra layers/waterproofs (check the weather beforehand)
  • wear whatever you feel comfy cycling in but make sure you have a helmet!

If you’re missing anything you need to come on the ride then let us know and we can help you out. Don’t worry if you aren’t confident with repairing your bike, LGG ride organisers are here to help but can’t carry enough spares for everyone.

Please note that taking part in Kendal Pride’s outdoor activities is done at your own risk and by booking you agree to take responsibility for your own safety.
