Join us at Abbot Hall for a special artist talk this Pride.
Abbot Hall is pleased to work in partnership with this year’s Kendal Pride festival to share the work of two newly commissioned artists, Mathew Wayne Parkin and Miles Dyson.
The talk with the two artists will be chaired by artist Garth Gratrix, alongside Will Cooper, (Senior Curator, Lakeland Arts) and a representative from Kendal Pride.
Together, the panel will explore themes within each of the artists’ practices, as well as broader discussions around commissioning, partnership working, and why supporting and commissioning LGBTQIA+ contemporary art matters.
