Join community singing leader, Charlie Brown for some fun and accessible group singing!
During the sessions you’ll have chance to get to know the other singers, and we’ll be getting our voices and songs ready to showcase during the Kendal Pride weekend.
We’ll be learning a song which will be featured at the start the walking parade on the Saturday and practicing 3 pride anthems which will feature as a community karaoke sing-along section on the Sunday afternoon.
The sessions will be informal with no pressure to sing on your own. No previous singing experience necessary, just bring your voices and enthusiasm and we’ll do the rest!
There is an additional rehearsal session on Tue 26th May 2026
We will be performing the songs we learn in these sessions during the Pride weekend:
Sat 13th June
10am – 11am – Rehearsal at Castle St community centre.
11.45am – Performance at birdcage.
Sun 14th June
3.30pm Community choir karaoke, main stage Pride village, Abbot Hall.
