Kendal Pride will host its first Christmas party this winter.
The Big Pride Christmas Party takes place at Bowness Bay Brewery’s The Venue on Saturday, November 28.
Doors will open at 7pm with entertainment scheduled to run from 8.15pm.
The line-up includes drag queen Miss Gendered, who performed at Kendal Pride earlier this year and in 2025, alongside drag king Andi Blewitt.
Organisers say guests can expect ‘high camp, sleigh bells and the queerest night of Kendal’s calendar with a soundtrack of Christmas classics’.
Sally Lofthouse-Jones, chairperson of Kendal Pride, said: “This has been a year of firsts for Kendal Pride, from our first procession to the launch of First Fridays, and now The Big Christmas Party.
“It’s important that Pride’s community and presence is felt in Kendal beyond June.
“The party will feature drag, great music, dancing, and fun and games, and is the perfect way to kick off the festive season with our chosen family.”
The winter gathering follows a sell-out Big Pride Party held in June.
Organisers confirmed the celebration will be contained within The Venue, so tickets will be limited.
