Take some time-out to explore this ancient spiritual practice. Reflect, meditate and explore as you follow the winding paths.

Labyrinths are an ancient spiritual tradition. Walk slowly round a winding path where beautiful things can happen. Unlike a maze there is only one path, but like life it winds around, sometimes feeling closer to the centre, sometimes moving further away. Reflections based on the rainbow colours will be offered or take time out to meditate on your own thoughts, feelings and embodied experiences.

This activity is offered by Open Table Kendal, an LGBTQIA+ inclusive Christian group, but everyone of all faiths and none are welcome to explore your own spiritual spaces and experiences.

Open to all, the activity will take place on a flat grassed area of Abbot Hall Park, so wear clothing appropriate to the weather and shoes which may gather a small amount of dirt or mud. Paths in the labyrinth will be wide enough for wheelchair or pushchair users. Drop in at any time during the day, take as much or as little time as you wish to reflect.

In the event of inclement weather the activity will be offered indoors in Kendal United Reformed church, 106 Highgate from 12.30 onwards.

This activity is a drop in and you can stay for as long or as short a time as you like.
